My dad had a thing for Italian cars and my mother wore traditional folk outfits! Their ideals and interests gave me the reference points to which I still turn when trying to develop my work. I have the greatest respect for traditional design and technique that have worked for centuries but I want to go farther. My sources of inspiration is not just the traditional but also modernism in general and the Bauhaus architecture and danish furniture design in particular
